Vision
American cities are reemerging as the centers of business, art and culture. Open Square Properties enlivens communities and the regions around them by creating well-designed, walkable urban environments for people to live in, work in, and thrive in.
Our current project is transforming a mill building complex into a stylish mixed-use site of shops, offices, and studio spaces that will figure significantly in the revitalization of downtown Holyoke and create an exciting commercial space in the heart of Western Massachusetts.
The design and development decisions we make at Open Square Properties are informed by knowledge of what cities have historically been, and guided by a vision of what updated urban spaces now offer: vibrant centers of diverse economic and cultural activity, local in scale but universal in the qualities that define community.
